Inspired by real life events.  In 1981, fresh out of chiropractic college, Dr. Kamen traveled to Cape Girardeau, MO to adjust a 17 foot giraffe, one of his first animal patients, who didn't much appreciate Dr. Kamen's efforts, and demonstrated this by knocking Dr. Kamen off that ladder 3 times--while the TV cameras rolled!  The below picture and story was plastered on the front page of thousands of newspapers nationwide.

Dr. Kamen was featured a few years later on the front page of the Wall St. Journal, which catapulted Dr. Kamen into the national spotlight.  Dr. Kamen has since appeared on dozens of national TV shows including The Late Show, Good Morning America, EXTRA, The Disney Channel, FOX PET NEWS.  Dr. Kamen has also written three best selling books on animal chiropractic including The Well Adjusted Horse, The Well Adjusted Dog, and The Well Adjusted Cat.  Dr. Kamen has conducted over 300 hands-on animal chiropractic technique seminars worldwide.
